Ashamed

How could we fill the world with so much hate?
Act so evil and say it's all been fate?
They say in the world we all have the same right
but forget to mention it's only if you're white

Every nation leads a war, fights for its religion
"Ours will have the most power" - this is just a vision
Strange how beautiful every religion is
Strange how horrible it looks 'cause of the beasts -
the people who lead wars, never understood
they have to give some love, to all to do some good

They talk about love, but don't know what it is
They talk about sorrow, but don't know how it feels
Talk about pain, but don't know what it means
Talk about freedom, it's not what it seems

What the hell are we doing? Who do we think we are?
We kill people, innocent children - in the name of God?
What about our countries, the colour of our skin?
Who has ever said, being black would be a sin?!
I'm tired of wars, fed up with anger and hate
I'm white and Christian... and sometimes feel ashamed...
